Century Building Solutions, Inc. provided a phased-program of restoring the traffic-bearing roof coatings with a new roof coating system, that would be an improvement on the previous one. This required the complete removal of the existing coating on over 26,000 SF of roof. Century, in conjunction with our removal vendor, craned specialized equipment to the roof and worked nights to avoid tenant disruption. Due to the requirements of the City of Santa Monica, this project required superior project management with permitting, compliance with local regulations and odor control with fresh air intakes. Even with a slew of challenges, this recoating was successful and led to multiple future projects with our clients at Water Garden.
